What better way to approach the design thinking process than to take designing into your own hands? In this 3 hour workshop, we will use the power of user empathy prompts to create fun and engaging ways to leverage professional grade 3D modeling in your classroom - wherever your classroom may be!
In this Design Jam, expert maker ed professionals will lead you through a project from the point of improvisational idea generation to a design that is ready to be used as a proof of concept. With a focus on 3d printed prototypes, this project will emphasize the power of iteration through the built in parametric design power of Fusion.
You can expect to use the Ultimaker Design Engine Starter Pack and Autodesk Fusion 360, an industry-leading CAD/CAM software that is FREE for educators and students! After this session, you will have the necessary skills to begin modeling your own ideas into a reality!
